Our Current Programs
Weekly Sunday
Zoom Lessons
Every Sunday morning, we host Zoom lessons specifically designed to serve refugee students who have recently arrived in the United States from around the world. These lessons provide academic support and help students adjust to their new environment.
Summer Enrichment
Services
at Vogel Alcove
During the summer, our volunteers work with students enrolled in Vogel Alcove’s summer enrichment programs. We provide tutoring and mentorship to support their academic growth and personal development throughout the summer months.
Genesis Women’s
Shelter Service
While mothers attend counseling and therapy sessions at Vogel Alcove, our volunteers spend the evenings tutoring and mentoring their children. This program is designed to build a strong academic and personal foundation for these students in a safe and nurturing environment.
In Each Program, We Offer…
Domestic & International
Current Events Lessons
At the beginning of each session, our volunteers dedicate a few minutes to educating students on current events at both local and global levels. This helps students stay informed about their surroundings and develop the knowledge and confidence needed to grow as future world leaders.
STEM
Tutoring
The majority of each lesson is focused on STEM subject tutoring. Our tutors work with students to help them excel academically within their respective school districts, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Personal
Mentorship
At the end of each session, we allocate time for personal mentorship. During this period, we provide students with guidance and support for challenges they may be facing in their personal, family, or social lives.
